3 Reasons Why Private Dance Lessons Work

Almost every person I've talked to wants to learn to dance faster. We can't learn fast enough. We want to learn it yesterday. What is the fastest way to learn?
Private instruction gives you the teacher's attention for the full lesson. You can ask questions about your movement instead of waiting for a group class to reach you.
Second, the instructor can customize a drill for the problem in front of you. A student may need to isolate rhythm, balance, weight transfer, or coordination before adding a longer combination. That is more useful than repeating a drill that does not address the limiting skill.
Third, live feedback can show you what to adjust while you practice. A student may understand the order of a move but still be late, off balance, or standing on the wrong foot. A teacher can identify that specific problem and give the next correction.
Private lessons are one option for learners who want individualized attention and a focused practice plan. They are not a guarantee of a fixed result, but they can make the next skill to practice much clearer.
